Wedding Venues Albuquerque // Albuquerque has a light that photographers dream about, with the Sandia Mountains turning pink at sunset and the Rio Grande valley full of cottonwoods and lavender fields. Its wedding venues are just as distinctive: an adobe hotel chapel in Old Town, a 1926 railway hospital turned hotel, the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and a museum at Balloon Fiesta Park.
We checked every venue below on its own website for current weddings, capacities and, where they publish them, prices.
Written October 2026. Prices and capacities are the ones the venues published at the time; always confirm them when you inquire. Cover photo by Ashley Cummings, an Albuquerque photographer whose Taos elopement we featured.

Good To Know Before You Book
- Marriage license: New Mexico licenses come from the county clerk. In Sandoval County (Bernalillo, Placitas, Corrales) it costs $55, by appointment with both of you present, and the license doesnโt expire. It is only for weddings in New Mexico, and it goes back to the clerk within 90 days of the ceremony.
- Vows in the Sandias: in the Cibola National Forest, a free group use permit is only needed for gatherings of 75 or more people, so a small wedding party doesnโt need one.
- BioPark Botanic Garden: it doesnโt host weddings at the moment, but a ceremony permit ($125) allows a simple standing ceremony for up to 30 people, without chairs, music or decorations.
