Hey there!

We're Jake and Candi, a husband and wife team who love to travel, hang with our dogs, Dublyn and Copper, and never leave home without a deck of cards or left, right, center (thanks to Candi's giant purse!) We believe pizza and bacon should be their own food group, and believe a good beer with good friends is the best way to spend an afternoon.

A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT US...

An architect and lawyer by day, we aren't here capturing photos to make a living. We set out on this journey because we love meeting new people, learning their stories, and capturing authentic moments through photos. No fluff, no faking it, just real moments captured in the most true to life way possible.

Candi grew up in Iowa, and Jake in Nebraska. We bring that midwestern, carefree, and friendly attitude to our sessions.

We met in Chicago at a wedding Candi crashed.

For 5 years, we've called Kansas City our home. We love living in the middle of America but jump at every opportunity to see the world.

Ask us if you can bring your dog to your session, and you'll likely be met with "Yes!", "Duh!", or "Why wouldn't you?"

When we're not busy taking or editing photos, you can find us rehabbing old furniture, enjoying a good beer in the hammock, or hanging out at the dog park.
