Daniel lives by the rule of not intruding on his clients day but documenting what happens in front him, this approach allows dan to create wedding films that are unique and full of story and character.

Simplicity and minimal kit are his key attributes to allowing himself creative freedom to capture his clients day perfectly and tiresome free of large kits, using only natural light and great composition to really let a wedding be captured as naturally and discreetly as possible.

Daniel has won many awards across his career and been chosen on multiple occasions to speak at regular leading industry conferences on his style and approach to weddings, even judging international film contests in the Netherlands, Romania and the UK.

WHY WEDDING VIDEOS
How did I arrive at weddings? A ten year journey has taken me across the world filming weddings in most countries I would never had the experience to have witnessed, I have seen things and filmed things I could never have dreamed about as a University Filmmaker, but here I am after many turns and twists through an already varied work life. I’m not special by any stretch of the imagination but I know how amazing my job is every day that I get to capture and document peoples weddings around the world.

SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY TO QUALITY
This is my personal opinion, after years of filming I know what to focus on, and it’s people and their story, it’s not the tiny details of jewellery and dresses hanging on mirrors it’s the most important people to you. Life flashes before us and to have the ability to watch back the most important people in our lives all in one place is the most special thing in the world. The connection of people and their relationship is worth the time to document.

I film mainly with one camera and one lens throughout the day to really allow myself to freely document and navigate your day as best I can. To really focus on documenting your wedding in an artistic and unique way.

Having the ability to compose to natural light and the surroundings of your wedding is the key. Being able to stand still and slowdown what is happening in front of me and not be running around filming everything I can is the difference, step back and focus on what is most important.

ON THE DAY
Daniel goes mostly unnoticed filming his clients wedding videos, filming only by himself or a very small team of people in order to really take in your location, people, culture and emotions to allow my eyes to capture everything through the camera lens.
